10.       WSIB (Workplace Safety Insurance Board) SUMMARY

There were five WSIB reports filed in March for Malton which resulted in two lost time claims.

Acting Health & Safety Specialist stated that tracking of the origin of the Malton inhalation claims in 2005 has been complicated, since the maintenance codes used on work orders can mean many different things, therefore making it difficult to determine cause from codes used.  The VCR spreadsheets logged thru Report/Allocation have been requested, to try to determine origin/cause of fumes; however, unless information known at time of VCR, we may not be able to ascertain origin/cause.                                                              Ongoing
